"St Edburg has been celebrated in Bicester since Priory days. Her Patronal Festival, having disappeared at the Dissolution, was revived in 1894 and offers us an opportunity to pause and remember, with thanksgiving, all those who have both preserved the beautiful parish church for future generations, and have kept the faith. As well as looking back, we also look forward, to St Edburg and her church playing a major role in the town for many years to come."
