Forthcoming Events
Dates for a number of BLHS events taking place this year are as follows. (Further details will be forwarded to members as appropriate):
'Bicester Town History Walks': (2.30 p.m. unless otherwise stated). These walks are open to the public and leave from Bicester Library, Old Place Yard at the time and date indicated. There is no need to book in advance, just turn up on the day. Each walk lasts about two hours and is on paths and pavements around the town. The cost of each walk is £3.00 per person.
- Tuesday 10th August - (7.30 p.m.) Bicester Pubs & Inns
- Sunday 12th September - Market Square, Sheep Street & London Road
'Local Village History Walks': (2.30 p.m. start with refreshments at completion of walk). These walks are organised for Bicester Local History Society members only! They need to be booked in advance and cost £4.00 per person. (Juniper Hill & Cottisford is £5.00 as we require an outside speaker to lead the walk.) Refreshments are included with each walk. Further details regarding each walk will be sent to those taking part prior to the event.
